Please visit our website at:
There you will find digital copies of our presentations as well as the video tutorials that complement each of our presentations!

In this workshop, the presenters will demonstrate how they have used class websites to engage students outside of the classroom. They will demonstrate many effective ways to use the website, such as collaborating on the blog, displaying class notes, posting images and documents, and sharing class videos. The focus will be on creating videos - using webcams, smartphones, and screencasting - as a means to reach beyond the classroom. Attendees will have the opportunity to practice what they have learned either on a project for their own classes or on a short group assignment.

After taking this workshop, participants will have learned the benefits of a class-centered website, using such platforms as Google Sites, Weebly, Blogger, Tumblr, etc., with a focus on creating videos via webcams, smartphones, and screencasting. Using a hands-on approach, our goal is for teachers to develop their own sites and videos to increase engagement in their classes.

Instructions for attendees: Please bring laptops (but observers are welcome, too!)
